The Piobaireachd Society is once again offering a bursary to young pipers to receive a week of tuition at The National Piping Centre in Glasgow.

Candidates should be aged 14 or over and under 18, and preference will be given to those who live outwith Scotland’s Central Belt. The purpose of the bursary is to assist young pipers in improving their playing, their knowledge of the bagpipe and its history, and to develop their interest in ceòl mòr.

The closing date for applications is April 26. All tuition fees will be covered by the bursary. Some travel and accommodation expenses may be considered for refund.
