Zephan Knichel of Surrey, British Columbia won the Competing Pipers Association (CPA) B Grade Piobaireachd event at the British Columbia Pipers’ Association Annual Gathering yesterday. The competition is a qualifier for next year’s Silver Medal competition at the Argyllshire Gathering and Northern Meeting.

The next North American qualifier for the 2020 Silver Medals is another Canadian event, the Pipers’ & Pipe Band Society of Ontario’s (PPBSO) contest on June 7 in Georgetown, Ontario.
