Angus MacColl Jnr. was the overall winner yesterday at Helensburgh & Lomond Highland Games after gaining three firsts.

The event took place at Helensburgh’s Rugby Grounds. The town sits on the north side of the Firth of Clyde.

The day was cloudy but the rain stayed away. The entry was low. However, the judges and organisers were reported to be content with the day.
