The annual Vale of Atholl Pipe Band Junior solo piping and drumming competition took place yesterday at Pitlochry High School.
The entry to what was the organisation’s 45th year of running the contest was the largest in recent years.
Entry at this competition is confined to Perthshire, Dundee and Angus due to the number of classrooms available at the school.
