Logan Tannock, the newly elected President of the Scottish Pipers’ Association (SPA) says the organisation is looking forward to this Friday’s Knockout semi-final heat between Stuart Liddell and Callum Beaumont.
The heat takes place at The National Piping Centre Otago St. at 19.00. “It’s a semi final to relish,” says Logan. “We anticipate a good-sized audience for this and, of course, there will be a bar. As you know, Stuart is the current holder of the trophy.”
Meanwhile, entries for the SPA’s Adult Amateur competition close this Friday. The contest is scheduled for Sunday, March 29. Competitors must be members of the SPA to compete.
