The annual Kingdom Thistle piping and drumming competition takes place this year on Saturday, April 4.
The venue is, as ever, Lochgelly High School in Fife, Scotland. The Kingdom Thistle contest is held in association with the RSPBA’s Dundee, Perth & Angus branch.
Organisers advise of one change to the format for this year: there are no tenor drumming categories but tenor drumming will return in 2021. In addition, the contest is a qualifier for the Adult World Solo Drumming competition. March 31 is the closing date for entries. Entry forms can be downloaded here:
