Kevin MacLean of Simon Fraser University Pipe Band sent us this video of the Canadian Grade 1 band’s latest virtual recording. The band recently recorded Finlay MacDonald’s composition for his son, Elliot Finn MacDonald, as orchestrated by band member Alastair Lee.
The video includes the entire pipe and drum corps – 22 pipers and 11 snare drummers with five tenors and a bass – and is the second such video the band has made. The band performed Santa Claus is Coming to Town in a similar fashion last December. The video can be watched, below:
