On day three of the Challenge Steven Blake, Director of The National Youth Pipe Band, spoke about hand changing and note changing cleanly without any crossing noises. He gave a music sample using triplets descending and ascending a scale and suggests the learner slows down enough to become aware of any tension in their hands — and then learns to relax.
