Matt MacIsaac from Cape Breton has been prominent at Piping Live! 2022 as a performer in a Lunchtime Recital, a presenter of a Learn @ Live workshop and around the venues as a spectator. Last night he capped off his busy and enjoyable week by winning the Pipe Major Alasdair Gillies Memorial Recital Challenge in his first appearance in the competition.
Thursday is also the culmination of the Pipe Idol competition and this year it was won by Luke Kennedy from Strathaven, Scotland.
