The National Piping Centre’s successful new workshop and teaching week for young pipers, the Junior Gathering, returns during the October school holidays from Monday 17 to Thursday 20.

This Autumn Junior Gathering will be held at the NPC’s Otago Street venue in Glasgow’s West End, and features a wide range of learning activities for Highland pipes, including masterclasses with specialist tutors, 1-to-1 lessons and performance opportunities. There will also be come and try sessions for bellows pipes, whistle and wooden flute.

This four day school has been designed specifically for young pipers aged 17 and under to get together and learn more about their instrument.



The Autumn Junior Gathering costs £150 for the full four days.
