The National Piping Centre provide a wide array of tuition options for all level of pipers on the Highland pipes, with individual tuition, evening classes, weekend clubs and seasonal gatherings for junior and adult pipers.

There is also provision for weekly bellows pipe tuition in the evening, or an immersive four-day tuition experience as part of the Pipers’ Tryst Sessions at the Celtic Connections festival in January. The Pipers’ Tryst Sessions will be led by tutors from The National Piping Centre and will focus on bellows pipes and whistle tuition, with each day culminating in a traditional music session in The Pipers’ Tryst.

The National Piping Centre’s website has been updated with individual pages for all the tuition options — and the links are listed below. The bagpipe.news Events Calendar has also been updated with the tuition options, and more will be added as we go through 2023. The Events Calendar can be found here, and an excerpted Upcoming Events version can be seen to the right-hand side of each bagpipe.news page.
