The Skye K. Richendrfer Memorial Challenge Cup took place on Saturday, February 4, at Macalester College in Saint Paul, Minnesota. The competition was created by Andrew Lewis, Pipe Sergeant of the Macalester College Pipe Band.
The competition commemorates the life and work of Skye Richendrfer, who was a prominent and well respected figure in the piping and music community of the Pacific Northwest.
The competition was won by Bill Zadra, from Fridley, Minnesota, playing Corrienessan’s Salute. The judges were Andrew Douglas and Andrew Lewis.
