On announcing the Surrey Piping School last week, The National Piping Centre was inundated with requests asking which tutors would be attending.
This afternoon they have announced the current Glenfiddich champion and record holder, Willie McCallum as one of the tutors. Willie will be accompanied by the Director of Piping of The National Piping Centre, Finlay MacDonald. Other tutors will be announced soon.
Both pipers will perform in a recital at Gordon’s School, 7.30pm on Saturday, April 1. The recital is included in the weekend programme for those attending the piping school. Tickets are £10 for members of the public not attending the school.
