The Scottish Crannog Centre have invited John Dew to perform at their midsummer music festival on the Summer Solstice, Friday, June 21. The event will showcase some of Scotland’s finest young musicians as part of their inaugural music festival.
The Summer Solstice has been celebrated for thousands of years in Scotland and was especially important to our prehistoric people. Many ancient stone circles around the country have been found to mark the position of the sun at the Summer or Winter Solstice.
The Scottish Crannog Centre is a historic site and museum at Dalerb, Kenmore, near Aberfeldy. Tickets for the midsummer music event can be bought from The Scottish Crannog Centre.
