The North Uist Highland Games was cancelled due to the threat of gale force winds and torrential rain on Friday, July 19, however the piping and highland dancing competitions went ahead in local village halls. The piping judges were Dr Angus MacDonald, Micheal Grey and Sir Patrick Grant. A very enjoyable day with a high standard of piping from pipers across the globe.Â
