Solo piping results from Dunvegan Medal 2024

Sandy Cameron was the winner of the Dunvegan Medal at the Skye Games on August 6. Previous winners of the medal compete for the the Col. Jock MacDonald Clasp, and this year’s winner was Derek Midgley, who was awarded £500 as Champion Piper and £200 for Best Light Music.

The best local piper was Alastair Brown from Kyleakin, winning the Finlay MacRae Memorial Trophy.
