This CLASP competition takes place on Saturday 11th January 2025, in-person at The National Piping Centre, Otago Street, Glasgow. The closing date for entry to this competition is Friday 3rd January 2025 at midnight (UK Time). Entry can be made through the CLASP website link at the foot of this page.
Events will be offered to adult amateur pipers graded 1, 2, 3/4 and both Light Music and Piobaireachd events will be offered for all grades. Please note that Grade 4 pipers can opt to play up in Grade 3 events (no points will be allocated for this). The order of play will be published one week prior to the competition date on The CLASP website.

Tune Requirements
The tune requirements for each grade/event is as follows:
Grade 3
1. Piobaireachd – Submit 1 Tune (Own choice or submit One tune from Set List 2). See Set Tune page for information on which competitions are exempt from the Set Tune list.
2. 2/4 March (Own Choice)
3. Strathspey and Reel (Own Choice)
4. Jig or 6/8 March (Own Choice) This is an event which may not always be available to compete in and varies from competition to competition .
Grade 2
1. Piobaireachd – Submit 2 Tunes (Two own choice tunes or One tune to be submitted from Set List 1 and One tune to be submitted from Set List 2). See Set Tune page for information on which competitions are exempt from Set Tune list.
