The High School of Glasgow is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Piping Instructor to join the team. This is an exciting opportunity to work with motivated pupils and to lead our Novice B Pipe Band into their first competitive season.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide 1:1 piping tuition to pupils of all ages and abilities
- Lead and develop the Novice B Pipe Band, including practices, performances and competitions
- Support the maintenance of pupils’ instruments and overall band equipment
- Arrange and select appropriate music for individuals and the band
Candidate Profile
We are looking for someone who:
- has a proven track record in both solo piping and pipe band leadership
- brings enthusiasm and passion for teaching young musicians
- is available for after-school sessions, weekends, and summer holiday events as required
- is self-motivated and keen to grow with the role over time
This is a self-employed position, initially requiring a commitment of one day per week, with the potential for further expansion based on interest and demand.
