Registration for the senior competitions at the Argyllshire Gathering and Northern Meeting closes tomorrow January 31, 2026. No late entries will be accepted.
The date of the Argyllshire Gathering in Oban is Wednesday 26 and Thursday 27 August, and the Northern Meeting in Inverness on Thursday 3 and Friday 4 September.
Competition entry is available to those who qualify and are ruled as eligible to compete by the Joint Committee of the Argyllshire Gathering and Northern Meeting in the year of competition. Your application will be considered by the Joint Committee and you will be informed which competitions you are eligible for. It is important that your e-mail address is correct as this will be the principal point of contact.

Once your application has been considered, you will be notified by the end of March 2026 to say whether you have been accepted. You will then be able to pay your £50 entry fee online (if applicable). The £50 entry fee for accepted entrants must be received by June 1, 2026.

The deadline for tunes selection and payment for Northern Meeting senior competitions is May 31. Junior entries also close May 31.
