Come and join the Bellows Gathering at the National Piping Centre. The NPC is collaborating with The Lowland & Border Pipers’ Society for a long weekend dedicated to bellows piping from Friday to Sunday, May 1-3rd, 2026.
The organisers are working hard to create an immersive 2.5 day course. From reed making, playing in sessions, setting up your pipes – there will be classes covering all you need to know about getting the most out of your pipes – enjoy this range of practical activity through workshops, 121 lessons, informal recitals and sessions.
Content covered includes: Reed-making, Session repertoire, Gàidhlig Song with Smallpipes, History of the Bellows Pipes / The Folk Revival, Tunes from other traditions.
All participants must bring an instrument and have prior experience.
