The National Youth Pipe Band of Scotland presents Dùthchas (pronounced DOO-kuss), inspired by the Scottish Gaelic idea of Dùthchas – a deep connection to land, and the natural world. The concert take place in the Glasgow Royal Concert Hall with a 7.30pm start.

Bringing together some of the finest young pipers and drummers from across the country, the NYPBS will perform a blend of new and traditional material shaped by themes of nature, landscape and the environment.

The evening features performances from all three NYPBS ensembles: Junior Band, Development Band, and Senior Band.

They will be joined by a cast of leading musicians from Scotland’s vibrant traditional music scene, including this year’s guest artists, From the Ground, featuring Perthshire piper Ali Hutton and Laura-Beth MacCrimmon.
