Solo piping results from Aboyne Highland Games

On a slightly overcast and blustery day the Aboyne Green in Royal Deeside, Aberdeenshire came to life with the annual Highland Games. A delightful arena with something for every one – Light & Heavies events, Athletics, Dancing, Fiddling, Tug-o-war, a Hill race, massed pipes & drums and, of course, solo piping at all levels.

Judges for the day were: Lewis Barclay, Robert Barns, Murray Henderson, Ian Duncan, Jimmy Banks, Logan Tannock and Patricia Henderson. A massive thank you to competitors and judges for making it a super day. Piping competition results as follows:
