•CLASP Grade 3 pipers at Chatsworth County Fair 2026

By Jackie Allan

We had a excellent weekend at the All England Championships at Chatsworth County Fair on September 5 and 6, 2026.  On Saturday the CLASP Grade 2 attracted four competitors, and the overall winner was William Fallon, receiving £100 of NPC Vouchers.

•Grade 3 overall winner Jamie Shand receiving his engraved David Naill chanter prize from Roddy Livingstone.

The CLASP Grade 3 had 11 players, and the clear winner was Jamie Shand. Jamie also received a beautiful engraved David Naill chanter for being the overall winner of the 2026 English CLASP league.  Jamie is the Pipe Sergeant of Blackwater Thistle Pipe Band based in Essex, so was also playing in the pipe band contests on the Sunday.
