Matt MacIsaac, a native of Cape Breton who now lives in Ontario, won this year’s Glengarry Cup before a large crowd at the Royal Canadian Air Force Officers’ Mess in downtown Ottawa, Ontario.
The Glengarry Cup is an invitational own-choice MSR contest run by the Ottawa branch of the Pipers’ and Pipe Band Society of Ontario. The trophy was donated to the branch in 1987 by the Glengarry Pipe Band of Maxville, Ontario. Last year’s competition was cancelled due to an ice storm.

Also competing but not in the prizes: Ed Bush Alan Clark and Brendan Culver.
