Jimmy Banks of the Scots Guards Association reports: “Angus MacColl Jnr won through to the semi final of our Knockout competition, beating Callum Wynd on Sunday. We had good audience of approximately 45 who listened to some very good piping,
“The next quarter final heat sees Callum Brown and Bradley Parker play. That is on on February 23 at the Club. All are welcome.” [Scots Guards Club in Haymarket, Edinburgh].
This will be the last quarter final heats and the draw for the semi finals will be held after after the completion of this heat.
Each player’s recital must include the ground of a pibroch and an MSR. An audience vote decides the winner of each heat but the final will include formal judges.
