Skye Games has made a change to its competitions for 2020. The change comes in the 2/4 March competition (played for the Kemble Star). Currently, in the heats, competitors will submit three tunes to the bench and play whichever is chosen by the judges. This will remain the case for this year.

However, in the final, competitors will play the remaining two marches rather than another one chosen by the judges and played twice through. In other words, finalists will play all three of their marches in the course of the event.

As with the March final, in the Strathspey & Reel final (played for the Peter MacFarquhar Star), competitors will play their two so-far unplayed tunes (once through) in an order of their choosing.
