Charles-David Mitchell, Ben Hall, Alasdair Beaton and James Skinner were the overall winners for their respective grades in the recent ‘Live Online’ contest organised by the Competition League for Amateur Solo Pipers (CLASP).

The competition was held via Zoom videoconference software on Saturday, November 13. It was a breakaway from the pre-recorded video submission competition format and instead, each competitor video recorded their live performance, which was verified by the stewards’ introduction at the beginning of the performance.

I’d like to extend a big ‘thank you’ to the stewards who kindly volunteered their time: Gill Cairns, Sally Mason, Anna Binder, Alister Sinclair, Katrina Sinclair and Karen McLean.

The judges for this competition were Jim McGillivray, Dr. Jack Taylor, Connor Sinclair and Andrew Carlisle.
