The National Piping Centre is asking pipers to take part in the February Piping Challenge in preparation for the 2022 piping season.
The month-long Challenge will encourage players of all levels to get the pipes out the box. After a long period where pipers haven’t had many reasons to practice, it is time to get the fingers moving.
The Challenge starts tonight, Feb 1, at 6pm UK time, with Dan Nevans live streaming on – www.facebook.com/TheNationalPipingCentreGlasgow.
Tonight Dan will focus on making your pipes sound great in less than half an hour.
Each day in February at 6pm a video or photo series will be posted looking at different aspects of piping. It will be social, fun and give lots of encouragement to participate each day.
The National Piping Centre is also encouraging participants to share videos, photos and comments on social media and tag them with #PIPESOUT22. At the end of the 28 days, there will be prizes for some lucky participants who take part all month.
