Bruce Gandy was the winner of the Masters Solo Piping Competition on Monday, August 14 at Piping Live! 2023, winning on a piobaireachd preference. The win gives Bruce Gandy a place in this year’s Glenfiddich Piping Championship, and Alasdair Henderson wins the invite with flights and accommodation to the Sunbelt Invitational in Florida. •Grant Cassidy of Uddingston Pipe Band and new NYPBS drumming tutor came second in the The RSPBA British Solo Drumming Championships.

The RSPBA British Solo Drumming Championships was won by Stephen Creighton of St. Laurence O’Toole Pipe Band. The competition was held in The National Piping Centre Otago Street venue and was well attended.
